This event next week is the first major event of the Alliance of Civilizations,” the group’s Acting Director said at a press briefing in New York.

The “centrepiece” of the Forum will be the launching of two major initiatives, he (Shamall Idriss) noted, confirming that one of them will be a “major investment” in the Alliance’s planned youth employment initiative, which would bring together Governments and major multinational corporations.

Madrid will also see the launch of a multi-million dollar Alliance of Civilizations Media Fund, an initiative that will be run independently of the UN and set up by private philanthropists and media agencies to “support major film productions that help to promote cross-cultural understanding and combat stereotypes.”

He added that so far investors had committed $10 million towards what will ultimately be a $100 million campaign for the Fund. While the names of the Fund’s partners will be announced at next week’s gathering, he noted that they include new media companies that were “household names” and “three major Hollywood film companies.”

Of course, Javier Solana's name. But what caught my eye was Neil Anderson. He has written several books on spiritual warfare. I attended one of his seminars years ago.

I believe the New Apostolic Reformation will be a part of the AOC. The rhetoric is in the process of changing from spiritual warfare to physical warfare. Satan will use the apostate church to persecute the saints.

I am looking at others on the list to see if there is a connection.

They hope to build a bridge between the West and Islam. Obviously not a bridge between Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

From the article:
"The two-day meeting in the Spanish capital will bring together political leaders, the media, corporate and film industry executives, and grassroots and civil society leaders."

Notice, there is no real representation from Jewish and Christian organizations. The rabbi doesn't count. His organization is composed of very high level political people. What we have is an end run around religious groups and planned coersion. It's interesting that corporate representation is more important than religious representation.

One person on the AoC list is Amr Khaled. Those of us in the US that have followed the growing apostasy in Christianity might find the Muslim equivalent interesting. Check out Amr Khaled. It's interesting that he's compared favorably with Rick Warren:

Response to Kathy: The Neil Anderson on the AoC list is a different person. He is not the Christian ministry leader of the same name. The AoC Neil Anderson has a long career as an executive member of the Association for Media Literacy and not in Christian ministry. He has no relation to the Christian leader at all. The picture of him on this web site makes that absolutely clear. It is not the same person. We need to be careful to check our facts before posting accusations on the web.

This is the foundation for the Antichrist. Don't fall for this garbage. A half truth is still a whole lie. Satan remains a liar and murderer from the beginning. "Interfaith" is his vehicle for deception and spiritual conquest through AoC.
