new crap from Club of Budapest: "Global Emergency Declaration"

Photobucket
Maybe connected to ShareInternational's announcement of a Christmas Matreya Surprise (See Constance's blog at Dec,12) Ervin Laszlo and David Woolfson for the Club of Budapest have worked out a "State of Global Emergency Declaration".
Somebody wants to evoke Solana's recommendation 666?
With The Declaration on the State of Global Emergency, to be adopted in the framework of a Global Emergency Consultation in 2009, The Club of Budapest calls attention to the "reality of the crisis", and invites all responsible people and organizations to endorse the present draft, so a "critical mass in the human community" would muster the "consciousness, the creativity, and the will to take action to cope with it". Looks like another event for mass initiation training.

Here they also deliever the code of conduct pointing heavily to 2012 and until then(2008-2012) we have the "time of transition", (see also on comment section of my last post):WORLDSHIFT NOW! – The Club of Budapest Handbook for Timely Change (to be published in 2009) but a "best of" can already be found already in the 24 pages PDF file above.
stay tuned!

Hi Farmer, I don't know if this might be relevant.

The UK Environment Secretary Hillary Benn gave a speech to the Fabian Society last Thursday stating that a 'Kyoto style deal needed' on food.

"He has set up a UK Council of Food Policy Advisers to look at the issue."

It appears that Benn has upset the Farming community as the farmers have, as yet, no representative in the advisory group.

Bjorn,
Damanhur is now openly supporting the Earth Charter, not surprising but interesting:

The Earth Charter people met with the the Assembly of Christian European Environmental Network, and on their site they mention an organization that sounds awfully similar to AoC, out of Netherlands called World connectors:

http://www.worldconnectors.nl/

and on the link page on their site they mention all the expected players including World Future Council, so it just creates one big global circle:

HI Bjorn,
Off topic a bit, but Rick Warren is speaking at the US Muslim Affairs Council, and was a speaker at TED like Karen Armstrong..

Thought you'd like to know.

Hi Farmer,

You asked me if, "K do you think about the animal sacrifices??"

Could you expand on this question please as I'm not clear what you're asking? I didn't register anything about animal sacrifices in these readings so if I'm missing something signifcant here I'd really appreciate a gentle nudge in the right direction. :)

Many Thanks,

~K~
