who is the iron lady?

Today we see an article in the Spanish press titled " the hour of Lady Europe".
Who is the iron maiden? Is this the hour of the beast?
The titled brings up again the ongoing question whether Baroness Ashton, current High Representative of EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy is fit for the job or not or as they write:
"The rebellions in the arab world wakes up/rises ("despiertan") the question after the Representative of the Community"

The author refers to an article by German Spiegel newspaper that has compared the flying abilities of the former owner of the pilot seat (numbered 666*) Solana with the current one:

"The German magazine 'Der Spiegel' compared and the balance of her first 100 days in office with the one of Javier Solana, a man highly respected in Europe for his dedication and is ability to make the EU visible at any point on the planet. The Germanic publication estimated that the Spanish politician traveled about 6,000 miles a week against the "three trips are a lot" from the current High Representative." Link

Still the article maintains that Ashton - because of her weakness named "lack of firepower" she would be the best for the job. Maybe because the article is just a hundred years old it could be yesterdays news soon. The hints of a much older Book seems to be much more accurat today.
stay tuned!

I always thought that Ashton was placed there to be the fall-guy for some contrived disaster or 'planned' terrorist attack in the EU scheduled for the near future. Solana can then ride in oh his white horse, in the full power he seeks.
