meeting of ICG group in Istanbul

"Turkey's foreign minister participated in a meeting of International Crisis Group in Istanbul. Davutoglu delivered a speech on "Turkey's peace vision in its region" in the meeting at Istanbul's Feriye Restaurant. Chris Patten, the co-chair of the group; Louise Arbour, the president of the group and the former United Nations (UN) high commissioner for human rights; Javier Solana, the former European Union (EU) high representative for common foreign and security policy; also attended the meeting. Established in 1995, the International Crisis Group is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organisation committed to preventing and resolving deadly conflicts". LINK

he stays on the cutting edge for dealing with the ongoing and oft repeated crisis that is today's world does he not? mr solana seems to have been born for a "crisis"...maybe the grandaddy crisis of them all? staying tuned as they say.
